Learn about and experience the flourishing craft brewing industry by visiting three of the most popular breweries in the central part of Slovenia. Along with tasting many types of craft beer, we will also learn about the brewing process from the masters themselves. The day will conclude in one of Slovenia’s legendary pubs, where we will also be able to taste beer from other parts of Slovenia and the world.

The first brewery in the beautiful town of Kamnik
was formed from a pure love and passion for beer
mixed with a modern flare and creative design. Each
brew has its own story, which you’ll get to experience
right after the first sip.
The Maister Craft Brewery is located in the center of old Kamnik. All beers are unfiltered, non-pasteurized, brewed with the finest ingredients and named after great Slovenes.
The brewery is located in the premises of the former Vrhnika Dairy. They have created more than 10 different styles of beer, most of which use Slovenian hops.
The highest-altitude Slovenian microbrewery (750m) is located in the small village of Breznica near Žiri. In addition to the obligatory craft-classics, such as IPA and APA, they focus primarily on dark ale beers, with an emphasis on very rare brewing styles.
